These terms govern your use of Aperio Finance products and services. We've written them to be readable rather than impenetrable.
1. Agreement
By accessing or using Aperio Finance services, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Aperio on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.
These Terms apply to all products and services offered by Aperio Finance, including Aperio FP&A, custom services engagements, and the aperio.finance website.
2. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep that information current.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the services. This includes attempts to access other users' data, reverse engineer our systems, or use the services to violate applicable laws.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that materially violate these restrictions, with notice where practical.
4. Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled. Monthly plans cancel at the end of the current period; annual plans include prorated refunds for unused months.
Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Current prices take effect on the next renewal after the notice period.
5. Data and content
You retain ownership of data you upload or generate using Aperio. We access your data only to provide and improve the services, subject to the Privacy Policy.
We maintain industry-standard safeguards. Specific security controls are described in our Security page.
6. Availability and changes
We target 99.9% availability for production systems. Planned maintenance windows are published in advance. Emergency maintenance may occur without notice.
Features evolve. Material changes to existing functionality will be communicated before they take effect.
7. Termination
You may terminate at any time. We may terminate for material breach of these Terms or for non-payment after reasonable notice.
Upon termination, we will retain your data for 30 days to enable export, then delete it from production systems. Backup purges complete within 90 days.
8. Liability and indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aperio's liability for any claim is limited to fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify Aperio against third-party claims arising from your misuse of the services.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
